Darrell is new to the area of the Tweed in 2020 and I was lucky to get him for my extremely fiddly, ongoing renovation. It's so rare to have trades return your call promptly, come to quote on time, keep to the cost of the quote, and clean up (and vacuum up the plaster dust!). Darrell worked tirelessly to finish patching (holes in walls, dents, previously bad skimming work on ceilings. He added gyprock to my kitchen where I moved walls and the joins were seamless. My bathroom now has a perfect ceiling. I will continue to use Darrell room by room as I fix up my old run down (previously rented and knocked around home) as everything he does makes the finish like a new build. We were doing a reno converting a garage into main bedroom ensuite, walk in robe and laundry, when it came to a plasterer Darrell was the only one to return our calls came round to check out the job gave a fixed written quote and was able to start in a weeks time, Darrell was on time great with communication and had some great ideas, finished the job quickly and the quality of his work is great, we were very happy with the square set ceiling's the rooms were small and some angles and Darrell done a great job, just finished painting and couldn't fault the finish he gave us, would recommend Darrell for any size job nothing seems to be a problem for him.

I had a bad experience with a builder and a reno with the sub contractors being anyone from backpackers to straight from school. I was left with a woeful finish on some walls that went at all angles, had bubble craters in them and you could see trowel curves in the plaster. I didn't want the builder to repair the work as he made a mess the first time. Darrell was the only plasterer to call me back, as the other's weren't interested in small and fiddly jobs. He did me a favour and squeezed in my job between 2 other's he was working on. Darrell was on time, had a very reasonable fixed quote, cleaned up after the sanding and was a perfectionist. I can't even tell where the old wavy, bubbled wall was now. Highly recommend. My photos are what he fixed and after photograph as a plain white wall (as it should be)
