I have been accessing various age birds day old chicks, 6 week olds and point-of-lay often since my 49yo was a teenager. I have never been disappointed. Time to get some more.

We purchased 4, 10 - 12 week old chickens from this company in late Novermber/ early December 2018. I called them today to ask to exchange the rooster and possibly a second rooster, as we are not allowed roosters in residental and it also states on our exemption licence. He said he doesn't sell roosters and said I must of the chicken from some where els, which I didn't. I know where I purchased them from. I will never and won't recommend this company. I which I asked for a receipt for the purchase of this chickens, I surpose thats why they don't give you a receipt for what they sell to you.

I am not happy with this company. I have been there 3 times for chooks and I find that they are always very unfriendly. The only reason I have been going back is because I don't know of any other place to get chooks. But after this third time, I won't be going again and I will try harder to find somewhere else to go. I asked for four 12 week olds, was given the chooks in boxes. I double checked with the guy that they were in fact 12 week old chooks and he said yes, somewhere close to that. When I took them home and opened the box I was pretty sure they looked full grown. And the next day I had 4 eggs in the laying box (they are not supposed to lay until 21 weeks!) I had wanted 12 week olds because it is ideal for chooks to start laying around Christmas time and because then I could be sure that they weren't older than advertised. I also have a bag of grower crumble that I cannot use. And on top of all that, the company only has an automated message. No way of getting ahold of them unless I made the hour long trip out there again. Not happy!
