      Situated on the banks of the beautiful Causeway Lake on the Capricorn Coast, The Causeway Caravan Park is an ideal spot for the family holiday on the Capricorn Coast. The Causeway Caravan Park offers quiet, peaceful, leafy powered sites with a safe swimming area.

      The Causeway Caravan Park is located about halfway along the Scenic Highway between Yeppoon and Emu Park on the Capricorn Coast. It is lakeside, close to picturesque beaches, Boat Ramps, Handy to Island Cruises, golf, and Bowls Clubs.

      Run down, not clean, rude owner

      Causeway Lake Caravan Park Review

      - Rude park owner

      - Arrived at 1pm, cabin not ready and made to wait til 2pm in the rain with two kids under 5

      - Very run down caravan park & cabins

      - Paid $105 a night for a shoebox. Disgusting, untidy and unclean and way OVERPRICED. I would not even pay $50 a night to stay here again. Wouldn’t actually stay again

      - No bedding for the bunk beds. Had to ask for pillows & sheets. Apparently we needed to bring own bedding

      - Aircon was broken

      - Microwave didn’t work

      - Had to ask for coffee, tea and sugar

      - Hot water for a shower only lasted one person in a family of four

      - Hot water leaks from tap in shower which burnt my son on his back

      - VERY small shower. Very hard to move or even clean yourself in it

      - No remote for tv in the room. When requested we got one but batteries were flat and had to replace ourselves

      - We weren’t given access to public amenities such as laundry and used another families key to wash our clothes

      - Laundry had only 1 dryer working

      - Bbq area in caravan park was filthy

      - Not ONE window locked in the cabin. No security to the cabin. Door was faulty too

      - Rubbish from previous people under the couch and personal belongings under the bed
