Why do I have to make an appointment?
Appointments are better for both clients and staff because they allow us to reduce waiting times and allow us to spend the right amount of time with your loved one.
Why can't I make an appointment during the middle of a week day?
Between our two consulting periods in the morning and the afternoon, from 11am to 4pm our veterinarians and veterinary nurses perform surgeries and procedures, monitor patients, write up extensive medical notes, research cases, look after boarders and perform administrative work.
How do I know when my preferred vet is on?
Visit our Vet Calendar. You can see who is working and at which hospital if you visit both of our hospitals.

We were turned away form an appointment as we were 10 minutes late! No consideration was given to the fact that I had to arrange babysitting for my 22 month old so I could drive to the appointment and was delayed by road works going on in the area. Because they had a busy day, they simply turned us away.
We've been taking our dog, and previous dog to this vet for over 15 years and we have never been taken in on time! Never!! I've spent numerous times trying to console my distressed dog in the waiting room. But for the first time I was late, I was asked to leave. Absolutely appalling.
This new owner has their priorities all mixed up - more focused on having patients arrive on the dot rather than focusing on the care and health of our beloved pets. Needless to say, I've booked in an appointment elsewhere.
