I have had a terrible experience from the start with this company. I had to pay for the gate & fencing I had installed in full, which I wasn’t comfortable with but agreed to. I shouldn’t have because once you pay it is very difficult to get them to return calls & follow up. They didn’t turn up the day that instalment was arranged & when I eventually got someone to call me back they came but hours later than agreed. Then they put the wrong coloured capping on the gate & it looked terrible. That took 3 weeks & numerous calls that weren’t returned to address. When they came out I had no idea they were coming. They can open your gate so they come on to your property without informing you there are going to be there. At that time the lock mechanism broke & they left it for a few weeks ignoring my requests to call me back until it was nearly coming off the gate. Then when they finally came the worker practically accused me of lying & told me the gate had been broken into. This did not happen. It was left too long long & after two bad storms it blew right through past the locking mechanism. Since he “fixed” it, it has broken again. Weeks later & it’s not fixed. I’ve been told by Liam the owner that he had no one to do the work because the installer had a family tragedy, which I was understanding about. But why only have one man to do your work? They don’t return calls, don’t apologise & are rude & defensive rather than owning their poor service & communication. Never use this company!

Agree that this company is not trustworthy and better at fabricating lies than fences. Liam doesnt appear to know sh1t from clay so dont waste your time asking him anything about fences. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Have done some research and they have plenty of unsatisfied customers.

This company called Secure-A-Fence is better at fabricating lies than fences. My ordeal started in early March when I asked the company to give me a quote on electric gate for my property front yard. This was quickly done by a sales representative named Ben. By 11/03/16 I already had a quote completed which was $8150, and I was asked to make a deposit of $2475 and a promise that the gate will be ready within 5 weeks following the payment of the requested deposit. The deposit was promptly paid on 11/03/16 and till date no gate has been installed. Each time I call the company, a staff called Liam whom I understand has been allocated the installation will tell me the gate is at the powder coating company. He became so rude yesterday that he hanged up the phone because I was asking him how long powder coating takes. This company is not trust worthy, and if by next week the gate is not installed I will initiate a process of refund or seek legal redress if they fail to do so. I will NEVER recommend this company to anyone. Their customer service is poor and they thrive on deceit and lies.
