Days late, not interested in warranty, v exy cash job. Vanished when we wanted manufacturers warranty on dish washer activating. 7 weeks of hassle thus far. Complained to manufacturer. 2 days for their tech Paul to come. Checked every single feature. Water pump faulty and one washer all replaced on spot under WARRANTY re checked all systems. We paid close tp 50% of new machine as the Proud tech insisted that all faults were outside of warranty! DEFINITELY DO NOT RECOMMEND THE FIRST CONTRACTOR. !

So glad we found these guys, Our parents are elderly and do not find new things easy to use so we always try to fix things rather than buy new.

My washing machine died after the storms, called proud appliances and they came out the next day and repaired it. The. Girls on the phone were helpful and friendly and so was the man who came out! Definitely recommend:)

Proud Appliances were very quick and efficient in sending out their technician to sort out my washing machine - which was brilliant. But that is where the good service ended. I was told that the parts would take 7-10 days to arrive and be fitted. On day 7 and 9 I phoned to enquire as to the status of my machine - and was informed that the parts had not arrived yet. 11 days after the service, I was asked whether I wanted to order the parts - and that they would cost "x" amount - and would take a further 7-10 days to arrive should I want them! The parts hadn't even been ordered yet!!!! You can imagine my fury. 10 days later the parts arrived, only to be told that the first available technician was in a weeks time. I have been without my machine for nearly 5 weeks - not fun with a family of four and a guest to stay. Even more annoying as I was told that it would take 7-10 working days to be fixed. I am not impressed with Proud Appliances at all. Not once did anyone express their apologies at the delay - nor did anyone ever fill me in as to what was actually going on. Even when I wrote an email to the company expressing my concern about the delay, I didn't get a reply. I should have gone with the dealer of my machine - AEG - I may have waited a little longer for a technician but I am sure I would have been assisted quicker. However, my technician, Mark, was very punctual and efficient - and, in fact, he was the only one who apologised on Proud's behalf! He was also surprised at how long things had taken! I will not be recommending Proud to anyone as their service has been below standard! Just a little communication would have gone a long way!
