Beaconhills is a short but hilly, challenging country private course on land that is hills. Visitors are welcome. It greatly rewards the straight hitter. I have played there five times. With narrow fairways lined with very large trees (such as oaks) is very slightly reminiscent of Augusta - home of the Masters. After a lot of rain it stays wet because it has clay mountain soil so does not dry out well. Last time I played it bucketed down. Two things I don't like about it arewalking up and down those hills and the low number of bunkers. I find that bunkers help me judge distances. If you are considering this course you might also consider Emerald.
