Ferg's Fish

This fish shop is owned by Bill Ferg who also owns and runs the famous Lobster Cave restaurant in Beaumaris - so the fish is always top quality - but is quite expensive. It is very well presented in the immaculate little shop but you have to answer the price vs quality equation yourself. I like it most for the mouth watering prawn rolls that they make on a barbecue out the front of the shop on Saturday mornings. Ten bbq prawns in a fresh bun with aoli or chilli sauce for $7. I can never resist them. There is another Ferg's outlet in Hampton.
