Very relaxing and well run Thai restaurant in a small strip in Balcombe rd Beaumaris. The waitresses are elegantly dressed in Thai gear and the service is attentive. The prices are a little steep for my liking ($20+ for mains) and a better bet for better Thai is Clover in Black Rock (which should be even better soon as it is being renovated (April 2013)) - still for a more quiet or romantic meal in a spacious setting Siam Spicy is not a bad bet given that Clover is often noisy.
