I live in Eagleby and needed my fridge looked at as it wasn’t cooling. My fridge has 3 compartments, top fridge bottom fridge and freezer. He charged me $150 to drive from Beenleigh to Eagleby, look at the fans and say they have all broken at once. He took down the details of the fridge and said he’d go and see what needed to be ordered. He also said all the fridge seals were bad and needed new draws and rollers to.
He calls me the next day and reiterated all that he believes needed fixing he also said there is a 3 week wait on one of the fans. I told him I probably didn’t need anything cosmetic like the draws fixed as they could still be opened fine, and could he send me a quote Inc all the parts that needed replacing so I could pick what I wanted fixed. I said he could order the fans that needed fixing once I’d had a look at it.
Called him 3 times in those 3 weeks for that quote and he did nothing sent me nothing,
We got angry enough and looked at the fridge ourselves. As we had found out the lower fridge compartment was working fine? Still cold. The freezer fan (which also cools the upper fridge) had stopped… because it was frozen over as well as the vents… we thawed it out overnight and now we have a perfectly working fridge again for $0 and 30 min work. Dude was trying to get near $800 out of me….
He lied about one fan and never told us the other was just iced up.
DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE.

DO NOT USE BEAR!!
Absolute poor communication from Denise the receptionist. Slow to action and unprofessional which cost them business and their reputation. Passive aggressive towards customer. I confirmed yes to part order, yes to booking in time (anytime anyday) and yes to price on a friday. Part was never ordered. After more emails on monday, still not ordered!! how many times do i need to confirm for something to be done??
Would take 5-6 days for part to arrive (which i acknowledged and said yes to on friday), however was never actioned.
Bear would not book in a time post 6 days from today, wont book in any job before part arrives so customer is in waiting in obligated limbo not knowing when the job will actually be completed. They do not work weekends so may be 10 days just to get the part, then who knows how long to book an actual day.
Would make logical business sense to pencil in an appointment so the customer isnt waiting an unknown amount of time after the part arrives.
WOULD RATHER PAY SOMEONE MORE THAN DEAL WITH BEAR AGAIN

DO NOT USE! We put our classic (1954 model) fridge in for repairs as it had stopped working. TWELVE MONTHS of lies and stories (a different excuse each time we enquired), we finally threaten legal action to get our fridge back. No work had been done to the fridge, no parts had been purchased AND he broke the hinge on the door. No apology either for lying to us for 12 months. Stay away we are now hearing more horror stories from other affected clients

I would not recommend this place to anyone!!! There customer service was disgusting! Don't waste your time people google another electrical store. The one in Redlands are fantastic. They also hear a lot of complaints about this company.

This place took 6 weeks to fix our dishwasher, and what was new dishwasher came back to us with scratches all over the front. Never use this place
