The Good Loaf

This place is fabulous. We stopped for a good old fashioned pie and sauce on our way through town. Well worth the pit stop. The pie was first rate, yummy buttery yet crisp pastry and made with very tasty locally sourced beef steak. Mmm.

The building the bakery is housed in is really distinctive. An old Beaurepairs station turned in to a lovely fresh cafe space with loads of natural light and a great big semi shaded area outside. Looks like the perfect place to dream the afternoon away with a slice of homemade cakey goodness.
