Bentleigh Garage

I had an issue with my battery nearby in the coles carpark and the lovely boys at Bentleigh Garage sent a mechanic out to me and jump started my car and even replaced it at a very reasonable price, I recommend this garage highly to people who are after a quick and cost effective service.

I took my car for a RWC recently. Although reviews seemed good prior to booking the car in, I felt the cost of work undertaken was very overpriced. I won’t be returning.

In response to Simons car the car has been to 5 other mechanics as well as Simon Stated when he brought it in, it is a Gemini with a V6 Holden engine, it was fixed and fixed well but needed more dashboard work that was not covered, I wonder why he has changed 5 mechanics, there is alway 2 sides to a story and we don't work for free Simon.

Went in to get my car rewired and the cluster fixed. came back all done. he even dropped off the car. he was very friendly. I even got him to put in a car stereo. total cost was 4k. when dropping it of he said you have nothing to worry about as it all covered by warranty. a day or two later the speedo started playing up. then I died. so I took it back. he then had the car for a few weeks and told me he had to send it away to get someone else to look at. when they were done he told me to pick it up from them as he was to busy. so I thought why not I just want my car back. when I get to the other place they tell me there is a bill of $550 for the speedo tacho and temp gauge. I said that this should be covered by Bentleigh Gararge, then. nope I had to pay to take my car.
when I spoke to him he refused to refund me. saying that the speedo is not part of the warranty, and if he did fix in the first place i would have had to pay for It any way, so just pay for it now. this is where I am at now
