Mike seems like a nice man and talks to you straight on them goes behind your back and colludes with your repairers making it impossible to get your boat repaired.

He recommends patch repairs on a 90k sailing Cat even though he has revived advice and technical bulletins from the paint manufacturers confirming that is not industry accepted.

Also what he doesn’t know he will assume and include it in his reports making your dealings with your insurer very difficult to say the least.

All I can say is I hope he has professional indemnity insurance!

IMS organised the salvage of my yacht through Nautilus marine by subcontractors. I thought it had all gone well until i started to get messages from some of those involved who witnessed the subbys stealing my personal belongings. The police are now involved and their will hopefully be prosecutions. To say im not happy with this situation would be an understatement . IMS have not replied to my emails or texts. I traveled to Ballina to see my yacht and found some of my stuff on the subbys yacht. The honesty & integrity of all those involved is now very questionable. Its one thing to lose our beautiful boat but to then have people steal our personal items is very low indeed.
