Norton Heating and cooling fixed my central heating thank you

My heating was taking to long to come on so put in a new switch board and they had to come back at not charge to me and found a hose was a bit squashed, it was cut and fixed

in no time the Manager and I had a cup of tea and so far so good very nice staff all of them

There is a breakdown in communication somewhere. It shouldn't take nearly 6 weeks (3 visits and 1 no show) to get my aircon unit fixed.

I felt like I was always chasing them. Should have known when I had to ring Nortans to ask when they would be back (a week and a half after the deposit was paid). That was just the start. There were problems getting parts from the manufacture, to "they sent the wrong parts". When they opened the box of parts the week before at my apartment.

Technicans were polite & friendly. But i would go else where.

They don't arrive on time. They don't call you to tell you your job has now been changed to the following day. They charge you heavily inflated prices compared to most competitors. They disconnect appliances in your roof, tell you they are broken and need replacing. They are about money and not service. They don't listen or respond to your complaints

On time, best price and great service
Paul was professional and helpful and delivered great service in fixing an older Vulcan Heritage heater
I would definitely use and recommend Nortan to anyone in the future

My heating system stopped working. The first service person assigned by Nortan quickly identified that it was the remote control that was at fault. This was replaced immediately and got the heating working again. However this person did not know how to get the remote synchronized to the evaporative cooling as well. My one remote controlled both heating and cooling. I called back Norton and requested this be fixed. Nortan sent another service person at no extra cost to have this rectified.

This was rectified quickly and efficiently. Rectification is important even though the first service person should have done it in the first place. I have provided 3 stars on the basis that it was rectified quickly.

I used Nortan heating services last month in June to service my heater. Firstly even getting a technician in to service my heater was difficult enough. We stayed home all day on the day they told us to expect the technician as were told he may arrive any time between 12-4:30pm and he failed to show up with no call or notice. The next appointment we booked, the technician did arrive. He serviced the heater and advised it needed two new parts which the company would order in. We were told an ETA of one week. Well one week passed and still no notice from Nortan. We had to call Nortan several times as to the status update of the parts we required. Never once did Nortan call first and advise us of a delay. One month later and we are still waiting for the second part to come in, which we have been advised does not have an ETA from the manufacturers.
It has been a very disappointing and irritating experience with Nortan. This winter has been the coldest experienced yet, and with a newborn in the family even more so. Never going back to Nortan. If you too do not require prompt service and mediocre customer service then go right ahead and book them.

Very happy with the service and friendly staff that attended to my heating unit repair.
They were kind enough to squeeze me in on the same day considering it was 10 degrees last night !!

So happy with the service I received from Nortan on Indra Rd when my air conditioner died in the days before our last hot spell. They had someone out quickly, identified the problem, sourced parts and had it back running soon after. Paul even fixed my TV aerial while he was up on the roof! Highly recommended!
