Eastern Suburbs Dermatology

I never got as far as seeing a doctor. I rang this clinic from a referral from my GP and the receptionist at Eastern Suburbs Dermatology was so rude that I felt uncomfortable from the start. She rudely told me that the Dr was not accepting new clients and the other Dr on staff would only see my child in three months time. I accepted that and we made an appointment but she was so disconcerting and abrupt that I came off the phone shaking. I had asked about a waiting list to which she responded "we don't do that". After thinking about it, I rang them back some time later to cancel the appointment because I didn't want to attend this rude clinic. I tried to explain the reason I was cancelling, that I felt I had been treated rudely, but she hung up on me before I could explain. I then rang another referral from my GP who was able to see my child the following Monday and the receptionist was lovely and polite. It doesn't take much to be polite and kind, it baffles me that people feel they can treat others so poorly, especially in a customer service role.

I was refereed to Dr Bannister by my GP to have a mole removed. The rudest most unprofessional doctor I've been to. Never removed my mole, said "that's not going to happen" told me I was booked in for a "chat"!

I didn't need a chat particularly a $280 chat! There are many fantastic dermatologists, do yourself a favour and go somewhere else.
