WE HAVE REPORTED GEEKS IN SYDNEY. FROM OTHER REVIEWS I SEE THEY HAVE SCAMMED OTHERS. $1200 AND MY COMPUTER IN WORSE CONDITION.

BEWARE!!!. I was trying for Geeks2U and Geeks in Sydney came up (Thought I was getting Geeks2U as they did not clearly state on the phone that they were Geeks in Sydney) Booked them Sat 28th Oct 23 at 4.15 and within 5 mins they had taken a deposit of $172.00. I explained that I had a very old Computer (over 15 Yrs old) and that the new Printer does not connect with the Windows XP. They said they can upgrade but later that day experts said its too old and not worth it and they should never have taken the booking, so on Sunday morning I texted to cancel the job for Monday between 4-6pm (Less than 24hrs) I also called and emailed first thing Monday morning around 8am. Niaz called me back to say they will keep 50% of the Deposit (which at no time during my booking was I told this nor was I told to go onto their website for terms and Conditions). For NO SERVICERS RENDERED and the fact that they were not at a loss to book another customer, this seem excessive. They keep $86.00 for doing absolutely nothing as well as I see it as deceptive advertising. They should also CLEARLY state their company name, not mumble it.
