I have played Eagle Ridge about eight times - mostly with social groups. It is the most picturesque course on the Peninsula - with flower beds and landscaping on almost all holes. It's signature hole is an amazing par 3 that consists of almost nothing but bunkers. It is quite hilly and has thick tea tree rough on many holes. The front nine is more challenging and holes like the par four dogleg third and the tough par 3 fourth will test any golfer. The first few holes on the back nine let the course down a little. Has a couple of good risk/reward par fives. It often has offers for cheaper rates - it is worth getting on their mailing list e.g. cheap golf when the AFL finals are on. It is very enjoyable but does suffer in comparison with its competitors the Dunes, Moonah Links and St Andrews Beach. Still, it is a cheaper option that those courses and still has that Mornington Peninsula links feel on many holes.
