could not be more unhappy. Our wooden and glass exterior door bowed, ( with a crimsafe already there) and we were blamed and No one came to see after we called them 3 times, emailed them and sent pictures. There is NO BLAME taken by this company. When we consulted with Fair Trade, Door City lied to them. We will NEVER purchase from them again.

There is no option for zero stars - one star is way to generous!
What an awful, unprofessional and downright rude company to deal with.
From the moment they took my money and promised 4-6 week turnaround which eventuated into 12 weeks. No progress reports, no call backs, no customer service.
Door was fitted and did not look or feel right so complained initially and then told it needed to ‘bed in’. Waited another month and the called to complain again about how ill fitting the door was, the lock wasn’t right, the door wasn’t water proof (big gaps). Lots of excuses, lots of unreturned calls, call screening (never answering my calls). Outrageous.
Finally the fitter came out and inspected and told us straight up it wasn’t right - did a botch fix but told us we needed a new door.
Branch Manager (Jay) claiming no liability due to Suncover - or lack of. Apparently all our problems come from sun exposure on the door. At no stage of the sale process - including them coming out to inspect the premises and measure up for the door to be fitted (!) did anyone ever bring to our attention the fact that the doors they sell are not fit for any sun exposure (even though they are sold are exterior doors!)
Then the regional manager got involved and we hoped things would improve. We were offered $1000 back (from over $3k+ original door) and we would have to put in writing we would not put up any reviews. They also sent a quote for $3.5k for (quote) ‘a door fit for purpose’. We have rejected this.
Bad products, bad quality, bad service, rude managers.... please don’t waste your time or good money here folks.

I had Door City replace my old front door with one of their new modern timber doors. I selected the door from their showroom and had it installed a couple of weeks later. Happy with the final product.

We experienced terrible customer service when dealing with Door City. After being told the door we wanted was in stock and purchasing it, we waited over a month for them to come and install it. In the end we had to chase them up. The contractor who installed the door drilled a hole that was bigger then the handle, so now you can see through into our bathroom/toilet. They also fitted the handle at a totally different height to the adjacent doors which looks odd. We contacted Door City to let them know we were unhappy and they promised to send somebody out to take a look, but they failed to show. I followed up with them two more times - same story

Door City replaced our front door and frame recently, they did all the hardwork for us, it was easy to choose the door we liked as they had a great showroom with a big range of doors. Really happy with our door!

I have just endured the nightmare of dealing with DoorCity to have four internal doors, two front doors and a security door supplied and fitted. I initially decided to go with DoorCity as they had good reviews online which I found out later were written by Door City staff.
I first contacted Door City Boondall on the fourth of June to furnish me with a quote for the above mentioned doors, and I supplied the style of doors that I wanted from the online catalogue. When I asked how long it would take to have the doors installed I was told that there was a bit of a back log, so around three weeks - fair enough.
For the next three and a half months I have had to chase Door City to have this work done. They do not communicate with their customers on any sort of level, and when you pursue them for information they flat out lie to you. For instance, I was told my doors were on a truck on the way to my house, only to find out from the tradesman on site that the doors had not been built yet.
As I was getting sick of being lied to by the Boondall staff I contacted the manager of Door City on the Sunshine Coast, and to his credit he did take control of the shameful situation that the Boondall shop had created.
The screen door and front door were installed but did not shut, as the front door handle protruded at least two inches into the path of the security screen. Massive fail. When they replaced the front door, they told me that they didn't have a door handle shallow enough for the gap, and I should go to Bunnings and buy a new handle. Who are the door experts here??
After many more frustrated calls and around ten visits to my house by the tradesman, my doors have finally been installed. The only prompt correspondence that I received from them was to send me the final invoice. Once paid I received no form of apology for their diabolical service, but having dealt with them for the past three and a half months I was just happy to have them out of my life.
I wish I had never hea
