I would suggest to stay away from this caravan park

I had a Nightmare stay from March through till April 2024. They have no security at all. I had several dangerous situations occur while staying at Tasmans Cool Waters Caravan Park. It started with a local ice affected drug addict trying to enter my van and steal stuff while I was inside watching TV at night. Next door they got into a backpacker van with 3 girls and wouldnt leave trying to steal stuff, they scared asked me for my help. They rang security and a 50s plus woman, the kiwi gardner came and she did nothing. She confirmed they cant stop the problem and the drug affected woman had tried 10-20 other cabins and caravans bf us. The permanent Cabins are filled with drunks and drug addicts and noise goes till 2-3am with yelling and screaming all the time. Management and staffs attitude is unhelpful and rude. Next I camped by the creek and got flooded and almost drowned as I got washed into the creek. I luckily saved myself and then 2 other families with small kids that were asleep and sitting in 3 feet of flood water and didnt know. I rang management and they werent bothered at all. Oh yes the sites flood regularly when Copperlode dam is full the water overflows into the creek. Crystal cascades is closed by council due to danger to the public but Tasman caravan park is allowed to put people in danger. Check how full Copperlode Dam and Tinnaroo dams are before staying because any rain will overspill and flood you like it did me and did all through summer 2024. A family 2 days prior to my arrival was told to move sites by staff as they expected rain and the sites will flood again yet they put me and 2 other families on the same sites that flood. The caravan park floods regularly and they will not warn or help you...I learned the hard way...They have no compassion or empathy as copperlode dam over flows into freshwater creek continually. 3 foot of raging water moving 20-30km per hour washed all my goods away and debri smashed my caravan and car and Tasman blame council and wont pay me the $24,000 damaged caused, and wont change things to protect future guests from flooding events or drug addicts or drunks entering and living in the park. Park management and their senior management only care about $$$$$$$$$ and have shown me no remorse or compassion........
