Robinson Plumbing charged me a $200 fee to deliver $400 worth of zincume from Mildura to Broken Hill.
Also paid them to fix a leaking toilet only to discover it is still leaking.

Found these guys through yellow pages. Called them for a small job just to attach 2 small shower heads by the toilets. We already had the parts and they just needed to get a couple of T type connections. I had this done before a few times and it normally costs $100 ($70 labour+$30 parts). They offered me a quote but because it was a small job, I said I don't need it. I called them on Friday and they came on Monday which was a quick response. On the day, the washing machine started leaking and we found that we needed to change toilet seat. The guy was great in staying longer than expected to look at the machine. We asked him to have a quick look to see if it was something minor or we need to call warranty as it was a new machine. He looked into it, couldn't fix it then he volunteered to call warranty. He stayed on the phone for 30 minutes with no outcome as they needed us to call with some information about purchase date. He left for that day, ordered the toilet seat and came on a later day to install it. He spent just 10 minutes. When I received the invoice, they demanded $420. $220 for 2 hours labor as they charge by the hour since they leave the office till they go back. I argued that the 30 minutes call to the warranty was not needed and it didn't result in any outcome for me but they said it's still time he spent working. Toilet seat was $95 and another $105 for material. I ended up paying even though I thought invoice was a little inflated. I think their service was great and quick but I think they were expensive.
