We attended Warringah Day Surgery at the appointment time given to us by the surgery. We waited over 3.5 hours before being taken into the surgery as the list was running late. During this time we were not given updates, any thing to drink and the waiting room was full to capacity, thus making people stand around. The clinical staff were in a rush as they were running late and pretty much threw people out the door after their procedures; after asking two separate nurses for aftercare instructions we were still discharged without any causing us to return to the GP the following day for aftercare instructions and pain management. Very poor patient management, the staff were more concerned about going home as soon as possible. No postoperative information given, nor medication.
