Penny Black The

Penny Black is a nice big pub. Great for large groups as there is a great outside area / beer garden. There is also quite a lot of room inside. Meals are tasty and pretty good value. The pizzas are particularly nice. The pub gets a bit busy as the light gets later.

The Penny Black is in a beautiful big old building with several indoor areas and a large backyard. This vibe of this place is highly dependent on what event they have on - they seem to massively vary and therefore so does the crowd, which can make it a bit hit and miss.
