Retreat Hotel

A Brunswick institution, The Retreat is a favourite due to it's large beer garden and live music in the band room inside. Along with a front bar and dining room there are plenty of options on where to sit here, or you can play pool or pinball. The food and drinks are a bit expensive but good quality, I recommend the black bean quesadilla.

Recently opened upstairs is their cocktail bar Amelia Shaw, a great little space to escape the crowds and enjoy a well mixed drink. They also have an interesting curio up there with their circular pool table.
