Bundamba Auto Wreckers

This was my first experience with Bundamba Auto Wreckers, I was so impressed with the customer service from Dean. He was pleasant to deal with, prompt with my enquiry and was able to locate the part for my car fast, within hours it was ready to be picked up.

(I was looking for a second hand door handle, they had none in stock, before calling me back he had a quote to purchase a new one).

Absolutely USELESS! I called to discuss this with them and all they could say was 'yep' repeatedly!They guarantee the part and say it is in good condition, only to find it is absolutely useless. Despite repeatedly being asked by us if the items are in good and usable condition we were told YES repeatedly. So you can imagine our surprise when we go to fit the parts (caliper, rotor, and bearing/s hub) and NOT 1 piece is usable. So we take it back with our receipt only to be told we don't do refunds. Not only is this AGAINST THE LAW by ACCC standards highlighted below, but it is also poor customer service. It would be different if we had of chosen the parts ourselves, but these so called 'professionals' salvaged us 'good' parts. Either they are dodgy businessmen or POOR MECHANICS!! Considering also that we were unable to see the item prior to purchase AND we were not told their refund policy AT ALL! We purchased the parts on Thursday afternoon being the 24th of april and returned them monday the 28th, given that friday was anzac day and they were not open yesterday we are well within the so called 7 days guarantee time, even with showing them the receipt they said no! SOO I have opened a case against them with the ACCC and the OFFICE OF FAIR TRADING over the phone and I have been told I have a very good case! They also said today they were unsure of the condition of the good we purchased..so why were we not told that instead of being told they were in good condition.
