Frustrating to deal with, your issue will be resolved....sort of

In the initial phone conversation, the person diagnosed the problem as best they could while making assurances that my hard drive issue could be resolved. Turns out it could be fixed (for the price of a cheap new computer) but the memory couldn't be retrieved despite the previous claim. It took just under 48 hours to get my laptop back, which I need for my work. Customer service staff made life difficult.

GST is not included in the price, they charge by 45 minutes with 15 minutes addition to reach the per hour charge but cap the price of servicing for 2 hours. It is rather confusing and makes calculating the cost of the service more difficult than it needs to be. I would have though GST included in pricing or at least clearly stated was a requirement and not hidden in the terms and conditions fine print.

Only positive was Jono the technician who tried to go above and beyond but held back by their bad GeekMobile business model and service staff.

very poor they didnt want to try and see if they could fix my laptop. They said that I probably wont have an internet connection so they cant fix it remotely. If they had just taken the time they would have discovered that I do have an internet connection......

Engaged Geek Mobile to fix a charging problem and ended up apparently having to replace the motherboard. The laptop was working fine before losing it's charge, the dc jack had to be replaced - that was all that was wrong with it. On it's return we were told the motherboard was the problem and a further $400 would be needed to get it fixed. Now we have a laptop that is totally unusable and the dc jack still not replaced. Totally unhelpful, never again will I trust Geek Mobile. Complaining to admin did not help although they said they would rebate 10% of the initial cost because the rep turned up late. They didn't fix the problem but they did cause more problems that we are still out of pocket for. Took a week to do nothing, and then charge us for it!

I have used Geekmobile twice now, and both times they have been courteous, and extremely helpful, above and beyond my expectations. If you want great service, fast and at a reasonable rate, then you can't go wrong with them. It only gave me the option to click five stars, but you guys are worth ten! Thanks for all of your help.

Great service and friendly company. Most of my computer checkup required us waiting while scans were run, so Jono and I talked for a couple of hours. He's a great bloke, and was thankful for my preparation with friends earlier, to at least gather some information about my computer for him to work with. It came down to two failed drives, and with recommendation I got a new SSD and a HDD to replace the main and secondary drives. Computer works like a dream once again, even with the torrent of Windows 7 Updates still coming in.

Worth the expense to know it was only a simple fault and not something critical like motherboard failure.

I was extremely happy with my first, and so far only, visit from Dale at Geekmobile! I had been scammed by a so called online computer repair organisation reputing to be a Microsoft endorsed operator calling to repair a reported fault that they had obviously installed on my computer themselves to to generate the call. They left my computer frozen after an argument about my inability to pay for the "repairs" online only to find later they had scammed my account for $1100.
Dale fixed the problem fairly quickly and installed some excellent maintenance programs and an Icon on my laptop to give me quick access to those programs to ensure I used them regularly.

I not only have had no more issues from that scammer but have had no other problems since I have been using those programs. Hence not having ever needed another vist?

I have also recommended Geekmobile to friends!
