I recently had the pleasure of working with twin electrics and plumbing for some electrical work at my home, and I couldn't be happier with the results. I would give them a solid 5-star rating without any hesitation.



From the very beginning, their professionalism stood out. The team was punctual, arriving exactly when they said they would. They were incredibly knowledgeable, answering all my questions and explaining the entire process to me in a way that I could easily understand.



The quality of their work was outstanding. They completed the electrical work efficiently and with great attention to detail. I felt confident that they were using the latest technology and best practices to ensure safety and compliance with all regulations.



Not only did they deliver exceptional service, but they also left the work area clean and tidy. It was evident that they take pride in their work and respect their customers' homes.

It was quoted $500 by Matthew to repair the circuit breaker, RCD /MCB isolator switch in the power box inside our carport on the middle of the day 9 /01/2020.



He came around 5:00PM that day, replaced the circuit breaker and a wire with few checks, all the work taken around 30 mints. I asked him the cost again, with the confirmation $500 or less, would send me the invoice by next few days.



Received the invoice No.39809 after 3 days, the total amount $624.8 with no details on invoice. Asked the company to send the charge details. the charge listed below: #1After hours Service Call -$295.0+gst, (included first half hour on site), #2 Labour -$80+gst, #3 Materials=$148+gst #4 Cert. of Electrical Safety $45+gst. The total service is 0.5H, is already counted in the #1, but they still charge the top rates $80+gst.

I complained the rates charge to them, late I received the call from Matthew, very rude attitude description, that his service was deserved that price because he is the licensed electrician, although I argued that price was too high to accept, he agreed to reduce to $550, however it makes me to feel that he or his company is RIP OFF and DISHONEST.

Extremely disappointing and would advise all to AVOID. To describe this business in short, I would use the words RIP OFF and DISHONEST.



Was quoted $1400 by Tony to install circuit breaker, isolator switch and powerpoint on roof for a cool room compressor.



Following the works, they were immediately paid and I trusted they had completed the works I had asked for. They didn't install the isolator switch and I had to call Tony 4 times over a week and his excuse was "the installer didn't think you needed it". He never returned any calls and said he would call me last Friday to confirm it will be rectified on Monday.



No return calls at all. Just poor excuses for a job not finished.

I wanted our toilet to be changed so that the outlet would go through the floor, not through the wall, to accommodate outside decking. The plumbers cut the support beam for the toilet floor and cut through what I found out later to be asbestos sheeting under the tiles creating clouds of asbestos dust. When I complained about the beam it was replaced. When I found out about the asbestos, I rang and was brushed off. I wrote a letter amd sent it registered mail - ignored. Awful experience with this company.

Dug up the front yard, did not fix anything. Stayed for less than an hour quoted $95 for the first half hour followed by $25 every 15mins and somehow ended up getting a $187 bill. Called up and was told by a differnt person who claimed I was wrong in my quote.
Not very happy, not going with them agian

Without a doubt the worst trade I've ever had the misfortune to have dealt with. Absolutely terrible plumbing work meant that I had leaking taps, sinks and shower for weeks. It took them 6 visit to fix up their horrendous work. They damaged the newly laid tiled floor which needed to ripped up and replaced and there was a lot more. To top it all off, one of the owners enters my house uninvited and starts shouting and arguing with one of his workers then begins to abuse me in my own home!

Whatever you do, stay away from this company. They do not deserve your business.

Called on a Monday to book in a repair to a tap, and booked in for someone to come on Thursday morning between 8 and 10am. As a result I had to cancel my work for the day, but the tap needed fixing. At 10:05am on Thursday when I called the office to ask whether anyone would show up, I was told there was no record of my booking and the woman on the end of the phone seemed to suggest I never had a booking. I gave her the time of the phone call and the name of the person I'd spoken to on the Monday and she said she'd look into it. She called back to tell me that "once in a blue moon" bookings get lost "and it's just unfortunate that it's you this time." When I asked if someone was coming she said they were fully booked and possibly someone could come but possibly not. I wasn't willing to wait around all day for a possibly and arranged for someone to come the next day (which meant my partner had to leave work early). The woman on the phone was incredibly rude, and seemed to not have any understanding why I was frustrated by what had happened.

The plumber who did the work on the Friday did a good job and was polite - he had no idea that there'd been an issue with the booking. He said he'd pass on to the office about that.

We were hoping that given I'd had to cancel a day shift only for them not to show and my partner had to take a half day off (we're now about $800 out of pocket as a result), that perhaps the call out fee might be cancelled or discounted? No of course not. Have paid more than $200 despite massive inconvenience. Wouldn't mind so much if they had at least apologised but they couldn't have given a damn that they had just lost our booking. Would never use them again and strongly encourage you to take your business elsewhere - they obviously don't need it if they're willing to treat their customers like crap! Feel sorry for the actual tradespeople as well, as they are being woefully let down by their admin team.

I had an urgent electrical issue that i needed sorted before my daughters birthday.
I called twin electrics and they had someone at my place within the hour, 15 minutes later the problem was fixed and made what could have been a terrible day a very memorable one. Thanks Twin Elctrics.
