A.S.A Dog Grooming

This man is terrible. My dog had an opened wound on his leg, it was quite large but because he’s a fluffy poodle you can barely see it through the rest of the fur.

But I noticed it right away when I was on the couch with him once I got home.

I called the groomer and he denied it and said he didn’t see anything, he kept explaining and said he’s been in business for years and this has never happened.

I took him to the vet and they said it’s a fresh wound and it looks like it’s from a razor.

After paying for his medicine, the fur never grew back, he now has a bald spot.

Disappointing that the groomer did not own up to it. Do not support this local business, disgusting.

Extremely disappointed by the service, took my little dog in for a groom and upon pickup one of her nails was completely cut off and bleeding and whole paw swollen. I raised this issue with the groomer, and he claimed her nail was never there to begin with and took no responsibility for his mistake. As soon as i picked up my dog and was in the car, i saw her paw completely red, again I contacted the groomer and he made up several excuses of how he is not responsible.Later took my dog to the VET and the VET confirmed that it was a fresh wound and would require medicine to prevent infection. Extremely sad that people can’t own up to mistakes, ended up causing just too much inconvenience and my poor dog suffered as a result. Would not recommend leaving your pets in such hands.

We have been sending our dog to visit Anthony for some time and what we've observed is he is very easy to get along with, he is committed to attend to our dogs needs

in a timely manner and even though we see him many times he asks, what is it short and really short in the face, belly and bum? What's amazing is when he says he'll be done he gets it done within an hour. Also our dog is very old, Anthony is patient and knows how to get the job done despite an old and frale loved one. It's hard to make a good impression many times but Anthony makes it seem easy at what he does

I cannot fault Anthony one bit. Easy going, flexible, puts customers first, knows his stuff. I cannot justify going to another groomer knowing that with Anthony I know I’m going to get the best looking pup who smells so amazing. I don’t even need to tell Anthony what I want done (although he has the habit of telling me what he’s going to do). I trust his judgment completely and know he will give the best service he always has. Thanks again!!!

Sorry but I feel like we have to leave this review. I got my Dog washed and cut a few days ago. Unfortunately, after asking you guys NOT to cut him too short you decided to cut him almost to skin! I know he had knots in his hair but he always does and the last time we had it done they washed him well did what they had to, to make sure he's not shaved entirely and I showed you photos of it before I left! Then I asked again via text to not cut him too short to be safe and you replied with a MMS of how much you already had cut down! I think it was the easy way for you to pretty much just shave him and get it done with.
not knowing he's an outdoor dog and sleeps outside, now he barks and complains because he's too cold & he shivers. We have to bring him in and adjust.
Let's not even go into detail of how uneven the cut was around his face! If I could upload some photos I would love to show. Then there's the style you assumed was a good look! Leave the tail in the full length it came shave the entire body to skin almost and then leave the hair long around the face too! doesn't look like our dog. absolutely shocking & something that was never discussed or requested by the customer!
I think if you weren't comfortable cutting him to the asked length, you should let the customer know and go from there...

Anthony is a fantastic groomer! I had taken my Maltese Shih tsu so many places before and he has come home so unhappy and anxious but everytime I come into Anthony's hes such a happy dog! Since I have found A.s.a I would never take them anywhere else does such a great job with the grooming and extremelly friendly and accomodating with scheduling appointments too! I also have a mini fox terrier/pomeranian who is 7 that I only took for a first trim the other day as she never really had long hair n never needed a trim I took her to Anthony because she did have abit of flyaway hair that I wanted to clean up and he groomed her wonderfully Inwas so happy with the work he did her coat looks amazing and I wish I took her a very long time ago, I would certainly recommend ASA to anyone, even though there are other groomers closer to home I prefer to do the extra travel and take both of my babies to ASA because I know they r in fantastic hands!
