Alter It Clothing Alterations

I came in to shorten a shirt dress and to cut excess material that was pinned before I left. Cost was not cheap close to $300 which is more than the dress itself. I came back to pick up to find that they have removed the pocket which is part of the feature of the dress. I was apparently told of this which I would have remembered and would have said ‘No’ to outright. No phone call even to confirm as you would think it odd. Apparently it was going to cost me much more if I left the pocket?!?!? They could have removed elsewhere which was pinned behind the dress and not the side. Very disappointed and I’m sure I will be told that I ‘misheard’ just like the other reviews that left a very disatisfied message. They didn’t even offer to rectify the error. To put salt in the wound, they handed me the material with the pocket. I suppose they wanted me to go elsewhere to fix their mistake. What a joke!

This is a funny one. They dress up their bearded male mannequin in dresses which actually looks a little scary and uninviting. But I had no choice and needed some help with one of my trousers. Fortunately the tailor was not as scary as the mannequin!

Its not cheap here, but then again it seems hard to find any tailor with reasonable prices these days. If its simple stitches, we prefer to handle it on our own. But if we need more professional assistance then this place is not too bad.
