Showcase Landscapes

We engaged Aaron, Josh and the crew to complete a major overhaul of our property in preparation for sale. This included creating a flat grassy back yard, creating and planting retained tiered gardens in the front yard and infill planting in existing gardens to make them lush. Even though we planned to sell, Jackie took care to choose plants that were suitable for their locations, would support the birds and bees and create beautiful views from inside the house. Our steep eroding block had terrible access so all materials and soil needed to be moved by hand and (deep) post holes hand dug. It was difficult, hot and dirty work that the Showcase team tackled with enthusiasm. By the time the crew finished we were questioning our decision to sell!

The quality landscaping looked great in the sale photos and undoubtedly helped us achieve an overwhelming number of inspections resulting in a contract after the one weekend on the market.

We experienced unprecedented unprofessionalism form Aaron. I would not recommend. He does not listen to instructions and misquotes. I asked for a specific height fence and he installed the wrong height. I asked for clearing of vegetation before the fence went in and he tried to charge me extra for a tree to be cleared that he apparently didn't deem part of 'full clear out' on his quote. Another contractor was present onsite when Aaron quoted this and heard the conversation where Aaron said the tree was included. Aaron saw sight plans for the car port he was also fencing and misquoted. He thought car ports had six poles? When do they ever? Since the fence was installed at the wrong height, the gate house was the wrong height and we still have a gap in the fence they left. Also, the job remains unfinished from DECEMBER 2019 with messages left for Aaron to come back and fix the remaining things...….but its crickets from him. Today I received a call from DEBT COLLECTORS. Apparently we owe over $2000 to Showcase landscapes. This is the first we are hearing of this. We are not paying for the tree mistake Aaron made so that can't be it. We are owed a refund for the third side of the car port we decided not to have installed...…...NO REFUND FORTHCOMING obviously...…...so that's definitely nothing to do with it. We are left scratching our heads from December last year with a hole in our fence that our dog escapes from weekly. DON"T TOUCH THESE GUYS WITH A TEN FOOT POLE!
