Charges you exorbitant money to do surgery. I didn’t see him before or after my surgery and then called his office to say I had problems, he was overseas on holidays !! He dismisses what you are explaining to him. Happy to do the surgery and take your money but then doesn’t want to know you after that

I have had same procedure on my breast with other clinics, I appreciate also the other clinics but when Dr. Ong did the same procedure in me, there was a huge difference, he did it with precision with his gifted skilled hands and wireless ultrasound which is very innovative, he was able to avoid hitting milk ducts , and glands, he just went direct to the target with precision, thus I didnt need any pain killer after the minor procedure, didnt have have haemoserous nipple discharge which is common problem when others hit the milk duct and other glands and I was able to work right after he has done the procedure.He did it at 9 am and I was able to work night shift of the same day.



I observed that he is not charging gap fees to senior citizens, he just bulk billing them .



He doesn't charge exorbitant fees, considering his exemplary skills, his good caring manner to sick patients.

If there is a cons in him, maybe it is negligible, he is reasonably tough and miticulous to nurses but he imparts his knowledge to nurses and to everyone, to make patient care safe and within legal boundaries, he does his job well within legal standards.He is not money greedy.



Couldnt thank him enough, I became emotionally stronger in facing my complex issues, he is very humane, caring ,supportive doctor and very intellectual.



According to my GP, we are so blessed to have Dr Ong in Macarthur Region.I agree with that.

I was under Dr Ong's care for a long time at Campbelltown Hospital and he had the best surgical team! He looked after me very well.

Dr Ong is a compassionate surgeon who looked after my relative with breast cancer with the outmost skill. From the get go, he took time. and gave us plenty of information. His website was informative and he kept us op to date with treatment every step of the way. Top doctor.

Dr Ong is a lovely surgery however has very poor communication skills.



He completed a Hernia repair with surgical mesh without correcting my abdominal wall which had been seperated after birthing 3 children. I am now left with an open adominal wall and surgical mesh that causes me intollerable pain every day. I have had quotes to have the mesh removed to increase my quality of life and have my abdominal wall repaired however at the cost of $27,000 and with no guarantee that the mesh can be removed.



Prior to my surgery I did ask Dr Ong if he could repair the abominal wall and hernia with out surgical mesh and he disregared the question.



For the past 2 years now I have been contacting Dr Ong to gain approval to get some Laser over the area of the hernia repair and he has avoided the converstions and asked me to go and ask the hospital for my medical records. His lack of communication has been extremely disappointing.



Surgical mesh is extremely painful and effects the quality of my life. If you can avoid it, DO! Ensure you find a surgeon who doesnt just follow medical trends but actually understands and has knowledge of what they are putting inside of you. For me Dr. Ong was not the right surgeon and now I have to deal with pain for the rest of my life.
