Solar Naturally

Solar Naturally approached us with a door knocker. We explained that solar wasn’t on our radar due to other financial priorities, but they emphasised that the system would pay for itself through savings. In our experience, this has not turned out to be the case.



During the consult, no detailed performance projections were provided, and we felt pushed to sign the contract on the day.



Based on the current rate of savings, my estimate is that the system will take about 10 years to pay off — compared to the 3 to 5 year ROI I’ve seen quoted as typical in the industry. We will probably have moved out of this house by then.



From my experience, I believe Solar Naturally did not match the system to our needs and did not provide all the information I expected in order to make an informed choice. I would encourage anyone considering them to request detailed performance projections based on the energy usage outlined in your electrical bills, and have a good look at that before signing so that you can assess the actual financial implications and lead time for ROI.
