Capalaba Body Works

Was very sad when new car got beat up its all patched and peachy.

I was really disappointed with the service of Capalaba body works.. They held my car for 5 weeks and returned it in a very dirty condition.. They broke a reflector in the rear bumper and didn’t replace it, telling me they were looking for a replacement at the wreckers and they would call me.. they didn’t!!! Two and a half weeks of my calling them and finally they got a new part sent from Melbourne.. during the 5 weeks that it sat there it didn’t get driven and was running rough when I pick it up .... I spoke with a man named Bernie about it who had a employee put a machine on it and stated it was spark plug number 2 that had a problem.. Bernie then said that when I brought the car back for the reflector to be replaced ,if it was still running rough that he would replace the spark plug for me ... Bernie also stated it was because it hadn’t been driven for so long and may have a build up of oil.. When I returned some 2 weeks later Bernie wasn’t there.. I informed the office staff of what Bernie promised me and the receptionist refused to believe that Bernie had said that. I found the receptionist extremely rude ... She also stated she would call Bernie... I don’t believe she did .. I feel that I have been extremely inconvenienced by the lack of professionalism and inability to get the job finished.. I am also very disappointed by their lack of honesty.. I now have to go to a mechanic to have the job finished .

My advise to you is to look for another body works shop..
