My furniture returned in a very poor state and I am having to have the work redone. The owner doesn’t return calls . I paid cash

After checking out reviews both here on and on Facebook, I thought this business sounds like it will do a good job. I needed some cushions replaced for my outdoor cane setting. After a discussion with Craig I thought yes lets given them the job.



We had agreed on the material and a date to pick up the finished work. Yet when I arrived at the agreed time, they were not done. Come back tomorrow, they will be ready just after lunch. So arrived after lunch to still find they were not completed, and were being sewing up as I arrived, some issue with staff.



As Craig as fitting the cushion covers into the cushion, there was at least two seams not complete, so holes in the cushion covers, which he repaired and apologised for. Got the cushions home, there were threads over the cushions not trimmed off, a seam oversewn which meant you would have an unsighlt edge where you sat, if you had it that way up, plus another seem not complete, so a hole!



So I took the two cushions back, Craig was not there but two young people, I said I was less than pleased and expected to pick these up at the end of the week, giving them 4 day s to address it. Called before I went down to make sure it was done, left a message, which was not returned.



Called Monday to see if they were ready, messages left twice, no call back, so went down there to see what was happening, still not done, will be ready tomorrow. Well red rag to a bull, these guys are incompetent, no customer service and poor workmanship to say the least. I was going to get 10 dining chairs recovered but there is no way I would give it to this lot at all.



On closer inspection of the cushions to trim off fibres, I note there are more seems oversewn, and a potential gap in the cover. There work is not brilliant at all. If you want a half-hearted job then use them, if you want a professional job avoid them.



I have attached a photo of one of the seams which is oversewn.

Management was very rude and ubrupt also opening times are incorrect
