Bad business

I really felt robbed after the technicians left, when I rang to book a technician to fix my stove , he told me it was going to cost $100 for call out fee plus parts

It tuned out they wanted $420 , I will have no way of knowing because they took the broken part back with them

I was in total shock

Take your money but don't fix the problem

Diagnosed the issue as motor related. Charged excessive amount for reconditioned motor. When the short circuit continued then blamed tenants for overloading machine causing a heating element issue. After returning the machine it broke under a month. Either they don't know what the problem is, or they've no idea how to fix the problem. Always shifting blame and now refusing a refund even though the machine is under 6 months warranty. I wish I read the reviews before I booked them - do not use these people.

Do not hire them - they are ripping people off!!
Call them about a couple of weeks ago, Jerry answered and I think he came with another technician (they didn't introduce themselves on their arrival) to see what was wrong with my washing machine as it wasn't pumping the water out.
They had a look called me in and said the pump had blown out as well as a pressure switch and told me that they can replace the parts for $320 - it sounded a bit much and I just said leave it at that then the technician raised his voice a bit and said: "how much you expected it to be? I said if it's that much I rather get a new one as this one is about 10 years old, then they said it's worth replacing the parts as the quality of the washing machine is much better then the ones that are made now."
They said the pump is around $120 and the other part around $80 - they wrote on the receipt that the pump & the pressure switch are faulty and told me to call them back if I decide to go ahead.
I decided to search for the parts myself and organise someone to replace them - got both genuine parts with the warranty including delivery for around $100 (pump alone less then $60).
On the weekend got to open up the machine and replace the parts to find out that they left the pump disconnected, we took it out, had a look and it was obvious that it had some blockage (white plastic pieces that came off a shirt collar), we took these out put the pump back in - the pump and the machine was working perfectly fine including the pressure switch. Done three loads since then - all OK.
None of the parts needed replacement.
I'm just outraged at people like this, shame on their technicians and their company.

DO NOT HIRE THEM. THESE GUYS WILL RIP YOU OFF FOR PARTS YOU DO NOT NEED.

They overcharged me for a spare part which I paid $120 for a plastic water pump. I later came to find out from other engineers that mine would have only cost me $60 even IF there was a real need to replace it.

After which they decided to look into another "problem" of the washing machine that they initially said wasn't going to cause much trouble. They removed the drum pulley wheel and belt from my washing machine, and brought it back with them for "reference purposes".

The intention was to come back again (doubling labour charges) to replace it. The next day I tried explaining that it should not cost me this much to have my washing machine fixed to negotiate a lesser charge on their second visit. But it threw them into a rage that I was trying to bargain. Because I did not know better, I conceded defeat to their anger and agreed to pay the exorbitant amount of $380 to have my washing machine fixed that afternoon. But they never showed up so then I had to call them. It was then that Sid told me that they could not make it as they were in the middle of a big job.

And they had no decency to inform me beforehand. Outrageously irresponsible and unprofessional.
A few days after I called him again as I was desperate to have my washing machine fixed and they said that they did not show up previously as I was unhappy with the price?! But I had already agreed to over pay them for their professional conmen skills as mentioned previously.

Sid then proceeded to yell profanities over the phone at me and hung up on me! He was shouting at me, saying that I don't appreciate what they've done for me. In all logic and reason, this was not a favour. I had another electrical engineer come look at the machine and he could immediately tell that what they've done was redundant and unnecessary. He said it was almost like they did it on purpose to get more money out of me.
