Really really poor outcome

Do not recommend to get your car serviced here. Mine came back with damage. After notifying Lakeside Hyundai, their concern was minimal and I had to waste more of my time going back to show them what they've done to the car. The only excuse was that the broken part "was a known Hyundai fault". Well it wasn't broken before they got their mitts on my car. I've also noticed negative reviews on Goolge disappearing.

I'd have zero trust in that place fixing anything and have taken my car elsewhere to be assessed and repaired. Absolutely disgraceful experience that has really tarnished view of Hyundai. I've previously only had great experiences and had owned three new vehicles, but will now be seeking another brand for my next car.

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS CAR DEALERSHIP!

What should be an exciting time getting a newish car has turned into a nightmare. Trouble with the vehicle began within the first week (day) of picking it up. The vehicle has also been undrivable longer than it has been on the road and my wife has only had it for 8 weeks.



Multiple trips back to the dealership and a closer Hyundai service centre and the vehicle is still not running right.

My wife has lost days just waiting around while incompetence continues.



The vehicle was also advertised with features that were later discovered were not included. One feature in particular the Apple Car Play was listed and a feature that was on my wife’s want list. Since discovering it wasn’t included at pick up and her immediate enquires regarding this has led to continuous hand balling and blame with no action.



The salesperson was quick to get my wife to sign the contract, but the resolution of the numerous issues has not been reciprocated.



Buyer beware!



The fear of the dodgy car salesperson and dealership is a reality here at Lakeside Hyundai.

Lakeside Hyundai? More like lameside

On the 30th of April 2022 I collected my brand new 2022 Tuscan Highlander. Purchasing the car was a breeze and the salesman who no longer works there was great to deal with.

On the 23/06/22 my car started shuttering, stalling and I was unable to accelerate. I contacted Hyundai to complete diagnostics and was advised I would have to wait a week for an appointment. I took my car in despite being told a week wait and demanded my car be diagnosed as I drive 1,000kms per week for work and it’s a brand new car. The diagnosis was incorrect and I was advised that I had gotten bad fuel. The next day the problems start again and I take it in for diagnosis on the 28/06/22. I was advised that my whole motor is needing to be replaced due to a faulty motor being installed - the problems occurred not because of fuel, but because of Hyundais bad workman ship. I am advised that this may take up to three months to repair. I am now left with no car, having to spend money on a rental car on top of my finance repayments for my lemon. I ask Hyundai regularly for a loan car for two weeks. My partner calls requesting a loan car and he is provided one on the day of the phone call, and they say sexism doesn’t exist anymore? Fast forward to 16/08/22 I am now collecting my car, do you think I was even offered a free service? No.

On the 18/08/22 problems start again, we take it in for diagnosis on the day and are advised that the fuel injector now needs replacing.

I have been chasing the sales manager up since the 18/08/22 with no luck.

I will never purchase a Hyundai again and will never recommend anyone purchase from this dealership. I should’ve waited the extra few months for a VW Tiguan to be shipped instead of purchasing this lemon, and giving this horrible dealership my hard earned money.
