I have purchased Kempas timber (Wonderful Floor Brand) included installation from Hills Flooring last September 2015, it offers 10 warranty, but the timber has just cracked inside 3 months after installation.
We have reported this issue to Hills Flooring in Jan. 2016, we haven't received any response nor phone call from Hills Flooring, despite of many repeated attempts to requested fixing our floor.
In late April 2016, Hills Flooring eventually has come to inspect our floor, took some photos, but nothing happened afterward. We continuous chasing for an answer until August 2016, Hills Flooring sent another tech to checked the floor and this time has asked us to mark all damaged timber which we have provided details a week later (49 pieces have been cracked), then nothing happened again.
Every time we called, Hills Flooring always promised to send someone to check again (2 times didn't show up and we waited at home), until now it is almost 2 months since last check and eight months from our first report, nothing has been fixed. Please also note that they never called you, it seems that this is your own problem & they just try to do you a favour, not their responsibility.
If you don't want to end up a situation like us, please walk away from Hills Flooring before too late. We currently have lodged a complaint to Fair Trading regarding this incident and waiting for feedback.
