BEWARE!



I'm reaching out to share a harrowing experience I recently endured with JW Computers, and I want to ensure that others don't fall victim to what I can only describe as a potential scam at best, and what it truly is, a theft of my funds and a violation of my consumer rights.



On February 19, 2024, I made the grave mistake of purchasing a CPU from JW Computers for $611.43. The CPU features Integrated Graphics, However, upon its arrival, it was immediately evident that something was dreadfully wrong. The integrated graphics were dead on arrival, rendering half of the CPU non-functional.



As someone deeply involved in the computer industry, running a business dedicated to reviewing such products, I was stunned by the lack of functionality in a component as crucial as the CPU. Unable to install necessary drivers or manufacturer software due to the defective CPU, I sought assistance from MEA Technologies in Tullamarine, VIC and Centrecom, Their diagnosis confirmed what I feared: the CPU was indeed faulty.



Determined to rectify the situation, I returned all other components of my computer to a third-party technician for testing. Despite their confirmation that all other parts were in working order, I was refunded for peace of mind (from other retailers). However, the problem persisted with the CPU purchased from JW Computers, even when used with brand new parts in my build.



Enlisting the expertise of three technicians, including myself, to diagnose the issue, I contacted JW Computers for resolution. However, instead of receiving the support and assistance one would expect from a reputable company, I encountered nothing but rudeness and lack of information from their employees via email.



Despite providing evidence from multiple technicians deeming the CPU at fault, JW Computers refused to acknowledge their responsibility. They even went as far as to charge me $60 for the supposed testing before returning the CPU, all while blatantly refusing my requests for a refund or replacement.



This experience has left me feeling utterly betrayed and scammed by JW Computers. It's clear to me that they care more about their bottom line than their customers' satisfaction or the quality of the products they sell.



I implore fellow consumers to exercise extreme caution when dealing with JW Computers. Don't fall victim to their deceptive practices and lack of accountability. It's evident that they prioritize profit over integrity, and I refuse to let others suffer the same fate as me.
