Glad I took my tired mower to them They replaced a lot of parts at the right price and got it going like a new one

Went to this much vaunted local retail outlet, with the intention of quickly and painlessly spending $500 plus on a weed trimmer (admittedly not a lot to spend in retail terms, but a big slice out of my pocket). After drifting around purposely perusing their one single product (huski, of course!) for 10 min plus while the “salesman” engaged in a D&M with his obviously “local’ fluro vested cuzzie bro (third marriage removed?) , I was rudely aroused from my slumber with a sharply worded “what do you want” from said salesman. When I directed my enquiry to the one product on the wall he replied “whut weed trimma?” (the huski one, duh??)

In reply to my “what attachments come with this product he proceeded to enlighten me over the next 30 seconds before turning the conversation back to his bro.

“You need blah blah blah “. Sorry, I am clearly ignorant and don’t know a great deal about this product, so ” blah blah blah” don’t quite cut it. Not deterred I went to several other retail outlets in Kyneton (only another 10 mins drive from here) to receive pamphlets, business cards and a whole range of advice from a another salesman who was a lot more motivated (and friendly) and clued up about the products he was selling (thanks Chris!)

My advice to anyone not quite sure of what they wish to purchase, but have the appropriate amount of spondoolas in their pocket to do so, would be to drive on another 10 mins and give this joint a total miss. Complete amateurs.
