T & T Star Nails

I have been going to this salon for years and have taken many friends and family. I usually get a mani/pedi with normal nail polish which I have paid $35 - $45 dollars for over the years as the price has gone up. Even though I always made appointments and yet still had to wait up to an hour, this was part of the experience. I recently went with 2 of my daughters and we were charged $210 dollars for 2 shellac mani/pedis and 1 shellac mani. I rang the salon and found these services should have cost $185. I didn't say anything at the time, just paid the cash as I normally do as I had never had shellac before and thought that was the price. Later, after 3 family cases of covid, I rang the salon and questioned this. I was told that they couldn't help. They have just lost a long term customer who has put up with hours of waiting over the years and watching them make people wait over and over. So disappointing that this is what they think of their clients.

never coming here again. they say sns cost $40. she decided to charge me $50 because she "used more powder" because she ruined a nail and had to do it again. she was making me pay extra for her mistakes. she didnt even cut my cuticles.

I totally disagree with the previous reviewer. Tammy and the girls are expert nail technicians. I have sns on my fingernails every fortnight and shellac on my toenails each month. I have not been disappointed. I started going to them because I had several disastrous sessions at another nail salon fairly close by. It's like comparing a hessian sack to a silk ball gown....I'll leave the rest up to you

Horrible! I walked in and wasn't greeted despite a staff member sitting right next to the front door. When I asked if I could get my acrylic nails taken off and shellac put on they smiled and asked me to take a seat. The staff member who sat in front of me didn't greet me but continued to watch a YouTube video. Throughout doing my nails she continued to watch the YouTube video, paying little attention to what she was doing. As a result my nails all ended up being different shapes, she completely missed trimming my cuticles and my shellac ended up more on my fingers than my fingernails. The shellac that did make it to my fingernails was uneven and poorly done. Then she tried to charge me more than the advertised price. When asked why she was charging me more she just said that was the price, despite the price list on the counter clearly saying different. Very disappointed! I will never be returning here.
