Inappropriate for me

I received my first box and gave it away

As a Vegan the bix was very high in high carbs of no use to me. It then took me three attempts to stop future orders even sfter a phone call the irder still came and money was extracted from my Paypal account. No value No return business from me

Hello Fresh need to get their phone numbers published on the internet correct

On their website they publish 02 8188 7222. I finally found the correct number here on yellow pages - 02 8188 8722.. I had previously told them that the published number is incorrect. Nothing done. They also publish a Help e-mail address which they told me is no longer in use and no longer monitored. I find this suspicious that they publish incorrect contact details to make it difficult to contact them. This is the reason for the low rating. Their product is fantastic. Service is horrible. Go for it, just don't try to contact them.

They're charging more than displayed on their website

Our experience has been a mixed bag, whilst we have had good ideas for meals, some have been good, some very average, and others horrible. However, I was absolutely disgusted by being quoted $114.99 including shipping for a classic 5 meal x 2 people plan, and then being charged $122.49 for 4 weeks. When I realised what was happening, investigated my paypal charges and their website, I contacted customer service, the agent "Reniel" said "I am really sorry about the confusion, rest assured that I'll submit a report about it." Their system was showing a higher price, that wasn't being displayed on their website, and whilst they could see it in the photos I supplied, "Rest assured that we will submit a report about this confusion so we could fix this on the system." They're also half smart in issuing invoices after the order is complete at the higher price, over a week after you have "edited" your order. Which makes you question whether you've made a mistake. Inconveniently for this organisation, their website is still quoting the lower price.

I had to force the issue in order to get a refund, and then they'd only give me back the $7.50 for one week.

When I questioned this, they said they'll process the refund on the latest box while we're investigating this with our payments team and internal team.

This type of dishonesty and blatant disregard for consumer law is a disgrace. Their website is a roundabout of FAQs that take you back to the same place, it isn't easy to get customer support, and when you do connect with someone it feels like AI or you're dealing with someone who doesn't understand your language very well.

Needless to say, I'll be cancelling the service.

Overall, the experience has left a bad taste in my mouth, which is ironic really...

very poor customer service

I was having issues with my first order, so tried many times to contact support, I finally got through and the lady was very rude. They seem happy to take my money but not to lend a hand.

deceiving

I would not recommend hellofresh, I never agreed to first order I put in my card details to explore the menus next thing I knew the order went through without confirming. I got through to support chat on facebook and pleaded with them to delete my subscription as you cannot do it on the app and the website kept on redirecting me. we got there in the end but they were reluctant to cancel. very strange, never again!!

Ingredients are not fresh, produce deteriorates quickly. Second rate fresh produce.

Still cannot speak to anyone at the company.

Unable to cancel subscription once a debit has gone through. Poor customer engagement, unable to speak to someone.

Very poor customer service

They never respond or send the information through that you request. They like to put you on hold for long periods of time
