A2Z Moving and Storage

Have used A2Z once before when we moved from Melbourne to Sydney with no problems and they had recommended a domestic mover in between my two experiences and no problems there either.



However, when we used A2Z to move back to Melbourne from Sydney in November 2017 they lost one of our boxes and refused to take any responsibility at all.



It could only have been A2Z who lost the box, our apartment in Sydney was empty and when they unloaded our things into a storage facility in Melbourne the next day, they had another couples’ things in the same truck to unload right after they unloaded our things. They clearly left a box in the truck and gave it to the other couple by accident. When we eventually found a new apartment in Melbourne and moved our things out of storage, the storage unit was completely empty.



When we called A2Z to tell them a box was missing they claimed they checked with the other couple who said they didn’t have our box. I told them it had to be them that misplaced the box but they refused to do anything, reception said they would get a boss/manager to call but no one ever did. Probably $1000+ worth of stuff in the box they lost, no wonder the other couple said they didn’t have the box, it has good valuables in it. I’d be fine if they just owned up to it, its just money, providing a small compensation for the box would be fine because I can’t prove the value of things that were lost. I tried going to consumer affairs but they told me the same thing so I have had to let the issue go. Except none of that happened. Must have called and emailed them dozens of times with just no response. No help at all.



A2Z just completely refused to take any responsibility, no one called me back and they just stopped answering my calls or returning my emails. Completely unacceptable and terrible customer service. Don’t use A2Z moving, they’re a bad, untrustworthy company.
