Ocean Key Pastry House

I purchased a sausage roll from Ocean Keys Pastry house on the 7.8.16 at around 2.30pm and unfortunately contracted food poisoning from it. It was the only thing I had eaten during the day and the only thing different that I have consumed for several days prior so I have no doubt it was caused by the sausage roll. I did wonder when eating it if it could have been undercooked but due to the texture of some sausage rolls I was unable to tell. I rang this morning to inform staff of the incident and spoke to a lady who insisted they only serve fresh sausage rolls. I wasn't ringing to argue this point or say they weren't fresh just to inform them that I had contracted food poisoning from one of their sausage rolls in the hope that they would prevent this from occurring to any one else. No apologies were made and the lady I spoke to was very defensive and rude. She did not seem to have a very good understanding of how food poisiong is caused and did not understand that food poisoning can be caused even if food is made fresh on the day. The response I recieved was not only dissapointing but very concerning.

I was served by one of the rudest women I have ever experienced, everything seemed like the biggest effort for her she did not want to help me at all.

Beautiful light fresh cakes. Mmmmm....Once you buy one of Pastry Shops birthday cakes....You will never buy from anyone else again. I just wish I could add a picture of how the cakes looked. As it was beautifully decorated.
