Tattersalls Hotel-Motel

Have read all the bad reviews. The writers should return & give it another go. We called in, in the off chance we could get accommodation. 08/12/19, 40 degrees. We were greeted with smiles & very helpful staff. Beer cold. Rooms, clean, shampoo and conditioner and soap available, also tea coffee and biscuits. Bed clean. Will definitely be staying there again.

The pub and the people were very friendly. The food in the menu being advertised opn their black board was not available. We were given a scrap of paper with 4 options of what we could have. As we were only customers having food and the cook did not want to come in to cook what was on the board if we chose something different to the hand written scrap of paper. The room was $90 with a double bed and a single bed. The room was dirty, dusty. Had dead bugs every where, the carpets had rocks, dirt and bugs. The curtains were dirty and broken. The air conditioner did not work. Room was very hot was 30degree day. The screen door was broken. Ripped fly screen on the door. No soap, no shampoo. We had already paid for the room. Left after being there one hour. No funds were offered back to us. No other accomadation in the area. Has to drive to walgett 76kms away to get another room. Would not recommend anyone to stay there. The town is just a drive through. It drive by

Pub itself is a nice friendly place to go for a coldie , the motel is a different matter , filthy rooms , dirty toilets , sheets not changed on beds crumbs every where , it is such a shame that no one cares , inspect rooms before you pay . 2015
