Grace Darling Hotel The

In a word: busy. In a few more, The Grace Darling is a nicely fitted out venue offering upmarket pub food which is good quality but can sometimes be a bit over the top, e.g. a parma that is served as a chicken breast fillet swimming in tomato in a terracotta pot with breadcrumbs and parmesan cheese sprinkled on top. There's also a nice upstairs band room, which oddly can serve from a reprieve of the crowds at times.

Around the front bar you often need to squish past people and it can take quite a while to get a drink, so come armed with patience.
