Homestead Concreting & Property Maintenance

I had a lovely man come to my place this morning and do a quote for strat. I really appreciated that Paul was on time and took his shoes off to come inside Thankyou again.

He was rude and ripped me off, says one thing and doesn’t do it

Our strata committee recently engaged Homestead for some general maintenance work, and the entire experience was a disaster from start to finish. Their quoting process was incredibly confusing and misleading, with three different people providing estimates for a simple job. Despite our best efforts to be clear about the scope of work, they ultimately missed a significant chunk of what we requested.



To add insult to injury, their pricing was exorbitant for the limited work they actually completed. When we questioned discrepancies on the invoice, which included items that were not done, we were met with a dismissive and patronising attitude. They took no responsibility for their mistakes and even threatened to involve debt recovery, which felt incredibly heavy-handed for a small strata plan like ours.



Throughout the process, Homestead demonstrated a complete lack of organisation and professionalism. Their communication was poor, and their attempts to address our concerns were inadequate and dismissive. To make matters worse, the owner has been consistently unavailable or "on leave," effectively hiding from us and refusing to take responsibility for the situation. We feel extremely taken advantage of and deceived.

Do not trust this company. The person who turned up was arrogant and unprofessional. He was unbelievable rude. I don’t know how they operate this business. Total disregard for their clients. No wonder they don’t have Google review or TrustPilot as no one would use them.

Did an excellent job. Reasonable quote and tradesmen very competent

Be very careful. My experience is a level of dishonesty from this company that you don't generally see, ie a fabrication of communication rather than say, hey we dropped the ball on this one, our apologies, lets reschedule. . If they are willing to lie about something so small and go to such lengths makes me very wary of what else.
