I contacted this business for help with an electrical issue on my car. I clearly explained over the phone that my vehicle was parked on a quiet residential street.



When the mechanic arrived, he immediately said he couldn’t work on it, without giving a clear reason and just kept repeating, “I can’t do it.” He also told me I had wasted his time. Eventually, he explained that it was due to safety concerns, which I did understand. However, I was frustrated by the way it was communicated, especially since I had clearly described the car’s location beforehand. I had taken time off work so this was extremely disappointing.



I was visibly upset, and instead of responding calmly, he said to me, “There must be something wrong with you.” I found this extremely inappropriate and unprofessional.



I admit I became heated after that comment and told him I no longer wanted to proceed. Since then, I’ve received multiple text messages offering a discount if I bring the car to his shop, even though I had clearly said I wasn’t continuing with the service.



As a young female, I found his demeanour uninviting and unnecessarily harsh. I expected respectful and solution-focused service, and unfortunately, that’s not what I experienced.
