I stayed here over a long weekend with the family - mainly for the golf course - which is fairly impressive. It is a woodland course with lots of ups and downs. We had breakfast included in the fairly gloomy ground floor dining room for about $260 per night (two adults two teenagers - with breakfast). The rooms were just ok - one side has a view of the car park - the other has the better golf course views. We ate in Creswick a couple of times - much cheaper and better than the hotel although it is nice to sit at the bar looking over the course. The remnants of the original Creswick Golf Club have their own bar downstairs. The pool is a terrible design - it is l-shaped and has a sudden drop in the middle so families are paranoid that their you children are going to step off the drop and start drowning. The pool is in an awkward spot and looks like an afterthought. Overall ok - but the golf course wasnt good enough to get me back. We did enjoy the gynasium.
