All About Asbestos

Terrible experience! I sent some photos and advaied him that there are some old doors which need to be picked up and they are not as heavy as a 45mm fire soor.. I then Asked him to ORGANISE A TIME to meet in the morning so he can pick up some old fire doors.. that morning he calls and tells me he's 10 minutes away!! I advised him that im not at the site and will be there in 20 mins at best! (So completley disregarded the fact that he was suppose to call and organise to meet) He gets there and bombards me with phone calls and messages as though I have just gave him a bum steer. I advised that im 5 mins away and he kept going! I called him and told hin to calm down and he said these doors weigh a tonne! i advised hin that they are heavy but not as heavy as normal fire doors! I told him to if he doesnt want to do the job dont worry about it! He said dont worry abd then DUMPED ALL THE DOORS ON THE DRIVEWAY AND DROVE OFF!!! They were in a nice neat pile and he jist dumped them in a pile! That shows his level of professionalism! Dont waste your time with this cowboy! I wouldnt use him to pick up a 20cm peice of asbestos! Shocking service!

Got Ashley around for a quote to remove some asbestos in the roof void. I informed him the broken asbestos pieces were towards the front of the house, so he'd have to go through the roof void towards the front (might have involved a bit of crawling). He hadn't brought a torch, so had to borrow mine, and after sticking his head up in the roof for 30 seconds, he told me straight out that he's not going to be crawling to the front of the house as it's only something one of his boys do. He then left me dumbfounded by asking why I didn't climb into the roof myself to get him samples of the asbestos pieces! How that would have helped him estimate the amount of work required, I would not know. He then walked out telling me I had wasted his time.
