Coastline BMW

This is no longer the friendly family atmosphere business it once was a few years back.



Found the sales manager to have very poor customer liaison skills. We will never buy another car from Coastline. Utterly disgraceful communication with lack of transparency mixed with intimidation.



We were completely stuffed around with finding out about a vehicles’ acquisition and then threatened over the phone in spite of our loyalty to Coastline. Were given three different dates as to when the info regarding the new car would be available - weeks passed by and always told “a later date”..



After not receiving the info in a timely manner we advised that we wished to pull out of a contract and wait until next year when more cars were available (new shape/model being launched).. Bodie the sales manager then threatened us to steal our deposit and then charge us a hefty percentage of the sales price! A bit average after our loyalty to the business over the last several years.



The sales manager’s approach to customers is deplorable and dishonest and he lacked any sense of integrity. My experience with him completely blemished Coastline’s reputation.



This used car salesman mindset of gaining a quick buck while simultaneously destroying customer relations is not suited to a prestige car company. And in time I’m sure this will be realized if it hasn’t already been hinted at previously.



Brisbane BMW is bigger and more helpful, putting Customer Service first where it should be.
