I purchased a car on Ebay from Korey, sight unseen and at my risk which I fully understood and the ad clearly stipulated the terms and conditions of the sale with regard to payment etc. If I had of lived closer or had the opportunity to fly to QLD I probably would have to inspect the car but I took the ad on face value and trusted in what I had been told with regard to the car. Korey assisted me in getting the car transported from QLD to Victoria which was gratefully appreciated. When the car arrived it was what I expected by purchasing a "wholesaled" vehicle, a couple of underlying issues which Korey would have been none the wiser but all good from this end. Thanks Korey

Won a Mini convertible on ebay. Buyer tried to force me to pay for it sight unseen, no paperwork, no background check. Finally after lots of asking sent me drivers license so I could feel confident he was for real. Told him I was flying from Sydney to Brisbane with cash to collect it, booked and paid for ticket and was applying for permit to drive it back to Sydney. Sent him pic of ticket. He immediately texted me that he was cancelling the sale and was extremely unpleasant about it. Kept on insisting I pay within 48 hours even though auction ended on a Friday so expected me to pay in full to someone I didn't know by Sunday without any warranty info that he promised me, paperwork, terms and conditions of sale etc. He also listed car on ebay without the options when you pay by paypal for buyer protection to protect consumers from scammers. He listed in the auction that I could pay on collection but by the time he had provided ID it was already Tuesday of the next week. Expected me to pay $5200 before he had provided me info about him to make me feel confident to send $5200 in cash to a complete stranger in another State. He sent me ID at 2.26pm on Tuesday and then told me that because I hadn't paid within 48 hours he was cancelling the purchase. How does that work? I am down the cost of the air ticket to Brisbane, the car I had agreed to buy and hours and hours of dealing with bullying behaviour from a licensed dealer. I mean as a buyer paying cash I am sure I am fully allowed to request due diligence information from the seller without being insulted and browbeaten? Instead he presented me with completely unreasonable terms in what should have been a simple transaction ending with a handshake, cash exchanged, paperwork provided and me departing as a happy customer with the car. Makes me wonder about the state of the car itself.
